The HelloFresh meal plans are designed primarily with families or couples in mind. However, that doesn’t mean the singletons of the world need to miss out. Cooking alone can be equally as rewarding as cooking for a group, and you can hone your skills to become a genius in the kitchen. And the best part? Meal planning for one person is easy since you can use your leftovers for lunch the next day!

Do I need to be an expert to use a single person meal kit?

If you’re only just finding your way around the kitchen, then the HelloFresh single person meal kit is for you. We’ve included detailed, step-by-step instructions on how to cook your favorite meals, and almost everything you need is included in the box. You only need to stock up on a little oil and seasonings to go with a few basic pieces of kitchen equipment.

Which recipes are included if I want a meal kit for one?

Every week, HelloFresh rotates its selection of recipes so that you have plenty of variety in your diet and you never get bored. In our meal kits for one we include recipes from around the world to ensure singles always happy at dinner time. Don’t like the look of a particular meal? With the Classic Plan you can choose between 12 recipes each week so you can skip it for another yummy meal!

What if I have specific dietary requirements?

Knowing what goes into your meals is a big part of eating healthy, and we believe to have the best meal delivery service for one person because we’re committed to giving you all the information you need to ensure your dietary requirements are met. If you cannot eat certain types of meal, then you can simply head to your account and let us know what to exclude. If there are certain ingredients you cannot eat, then we’re also happy to swap them out for something else.

Can I skip a week or cancel meal delivery kits for one person?

The meal boxes for singles are designed to be flexible, so if at any time you need to skip a week then let us know. We’ll simply resume your deliveries on the date you specify as your return. If you find you need to cancel, then that’s simple too. There are no long contracts with HelloFresh and you’re free to reactivate your subscription at any time.

What happens if I’m not home to receive my single person food box?

Live alone? No worries. If you cannot be at home for any reason to receive your meal service for one during your allotted time and date, then just let us know. We can either rearrange for a better time, or you can leave us instructions on a safe place to leave your box so it’s waiting when you arrive home.
