As a result of the country transitioning its approach to COVID-19 there is an increasing impact on the food supply chain, resulting in reduced availability of some items.
We are experiencing some disruptions to our normal deliveries due to this, with our suppliers facing COVID-related workforce shortages on-top of recent unfavourable weather.
In order to ensure we can keep delivering to Kiwi households, we’ve had to implement changes to our service, most significantly changing to a fixed weekly order cut-off time of 11:59PM Tuesday for all of NZ from Tuesday 1 March.
Additionally, there may be a need to make some interim changes, including:
- Reducing the number of recipes available each week
- Removing some Extras from our menu
- Swapping affected ingredients for similar alternatives
While we hope that all of the above will not affect your box, we wanted to let you know in advance of any changes. We know it’s frustrating to receive something other than what you expected. Rest assured we’re working closely with our suppliers to minimise any impact to you and we will endeavour to let you know about any changes as soon as we can.
Our team is moving mountains so we can continue to feed as many Kiwis as possible during this time. We hope that the impacts will be limited and thank you for your understanding as we navigate these challenges.
