- Preheat oven to 240°C/220°C fan-forced.
- Place on a lined oven tray. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with Louisana spice blend and toss to coat.
- Bake until tender, 20-25 minutes.
- In the last 5 minutes of cook time, remove from oven, sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and bake until golden and crisp.
TIP: If your oven tray is crowded, divide between two trays.
- Meanwhile, boil the kettle.
- Cut tomato into thin wedges.
- Slice haloumi horizontally to get 1 piece per person.
- Evenly spread one-step coater on a large plate.Press halloumi into coater, turning to coat. Transfer to a plate.
- Heat a large frying pan over medium-high heat with enough olive oil to coat the base.
- Cook haloumi until golden brown, 2 minutes each side. Set aside on a paper towel-lined plate.
- Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, combine gravy granules and the boiling water (1/2 cup for 2 people / 1 cup for 4 people), whisking, until smooth, 1 minute.
TIP: If your pan is getting crowded, cook in batches for the best results, add extra oil as needed.
TIP: Chicken is cooked through when It's no longer pink inside.
- In a large bowl, combine baby spinach & rocket mix, tomato, a drizzle with olive oil and vinegar. Season to taste.
- Divide poutine inspired fries between plates. Pour over gravy.
- Serve with crispy fried halloumi, rocket and tomato salad. Enjoy!
