Cooking Steps

  • Finely chop garlic. Thinly slice fresh chilli (if using). Slice lemon into wedges.
  • In a medium bowl, combine peeled prawns, lemon pepper seasoning and a drizzle of olive oil.

  • Place the butter, chilli and garlic in a small heatproof bowl and microwave in 10 second bursts or until melted. Set aside.

  • In a large frying pan, heat a drizzle of olive oil over medium-high heat.
  • Cook prawns in batches, tossing, until pink and starting to curl up, 3-4
  • In the last minute of cook time, return all prawns to the pan, add the garlic-chilli butter, tossing, until fragrant.
  • Remove pan from heat and add a good squeeze of lemon juice. Season to taste.

TIP: Have a BBQ? Preheat BBQ to a high heat. Grill the prawns until pink and starting to curl up, 2-4 minutes. Transfer to a serving plate and drizzle over garlic-chilli butter and a good squeeze of lemon juice.

  • Transfer chilli-butter prawns to a serving dish. Serve with any remaining lemon wedges. Enjoy!
