Smarter Sourcing, Less Waste

We source many of our ingredients directly from Aussie producers, cutting out unnecessary steps in the traditional supply chain. A shorter path from farm to front door means we can avoid the packaging and repackaging often done by supermarkets.

Your ingredients are pre-portioned for every recipe so you only get exactly what you need, and nothing ends up in the bin. As a result, your HelloFresh meal creates 25% fewer carbon emissions than the exact same meal made from supermarket ingredients.

Reduced food waste

Reduced food waste

When food waste goes to landfill, it impacts the climate by producing greenhouse gases.

We forecast ingredient sourcing based on customer demand, meaning we only buy what's necessary.

On top of that, your ingredients come perfectly pre-portioned to the gram - which means you're reducing food waste by up to 21% with every HelloFresh meal.

Our New Zealand distribution centre runs on renewable energy. That means that 100% of our meal kits are packed in a centre running on solar panels & GreenPower.
Innovative packaging

Innovative packaging

Your ingredients are always of the highest quality and are delivered to your door fresh and safe. We are continuously innovating to find more sustainable options or to remove packaging altogether.

Where food comes from is as important as how it tastes. We attach a great deal of importance to regional and seasonal produce, as well as sustainable agriculture, fishing, and animal farming.
KiwiHarvest
