
Prepare for a table full of happy faces when you bring out this crowd-pleasing dish. With potato wedges, saucy teriyaki beef mince, sesame seeds, creamy slaw and crispy shallots, it's going all the way to number one!

• Preheat oven to 240°C/220°C fan-forced. • Cut potato into wedges, then place on a lined oven tray. • Drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and toss to coat. Bake until tender, 20-25 minutes.

• Meanwhile, finely chop garlic. Roughly chop baby spinach leaves and cucumber. Thinly slice onion. • In a small bowl, combine teriyaki sauce, the soy sauce, rice wine vinegar and the water. Set aside.
Little cooks: Take charge by combining the sauces!

• When the wedges have 10 minutes cook time remaining, heat a large frying pan over medium-high heat with a drizzle of olive oil. • Cook beef mince and onion, breaking up mince with a spoon, until just browned, 4-5 minutes.

• Add garlic to the beef and cook until fragrant, 1 minute. • Add teriyaki sauce mixture and cook until slightly reduced, 1-2 minutes.

• In a large bowl, combine slaw mix, cucumber, baby spinach, mayonnaise and a drizzle of rice wine vinegar. Toss to combine. Season to taste.
Little cooks: Kids can help by combining the ingredients for the slaw.

• Divide wedges between plates and top with teriyaki beef. • Sprinkle over crispy shallots. • Serve with creamy slaw. Enjoy!
