Chermoula Spice Blend
1 drizzle
olive oil
1 drizzle
vinegar (white wine or rice wine)
• Roughly chop tomato.
• Tear parsley.
• Thinly slice onion (see ingredients).
• In a large frying pan, heat a drizzle of olive oil over medium-high heat.
• Cook onion, stirring, until tender, 4-5 minutes. Transfer to a bowl, season and cover to keep warm.
• Meanwhile, discard any liquid from beef strips packaging.
• In a medium bowl, combine beef strips, chermoula spice blend and a drizzle of olive oil.
• Wipe out frying pan and return to high heat with a drizzle of olive oil.
• When oil is hot, cook beef strips in batches, tossing, until browned and cooked through, 1-2 minutes. Transfer to a bowl and cover to keep warm.
TIP: Cooking the meat in batches over high heat helps it stay tender.
• Microwave mini flourtortillas on a microwave-safe plate in 10 second bursts until warmed through.
• In a small bowl, combine tomato with a drizzle of olive oil and vinegar. Season to taste. Set aside.
• In a second medium bowl, combine mixed salad leaves with a drizzle of olive oil and vinegar. Season to taste.
• Bring everything to the table.
• Build your own plate with mini tortillas, beef, salad, charred onion, zingy tomatoes, parsley and garlic dip to serve. Enjoy!
