Cooking Steps

• Preheat oven to 200°C/180°C fan-forced. • Slice hot cross buns into 1cm slices • In a medium bowl, place cream, the milk, eggs and 1/2 the caster sugar. Whisk until smooth.

• Arrange hot cross bun slices in a baking dish. Pour over cream mixture and and allow to sit for 30 minutes. • Meanwhile, in a small microwave-safe bowl, place the butter. Microwave in 10 second bursts until melted.

• Pour melted butter over pudding, then top with 1 tsp of remaining caster sugar. • Bake pudding until golden and custard is set, 40-45 minutes.

• Allow pudding to cool for 10 minutes. • Divide hot cross bun pudding between bowls. Enjoy!
