• Boil the kettle. Half-fill a large saucepan with boiling water and add a generous pinch of salt. Cook fettuccine over high heat until ‘al dente’, 11 minutes. Reserve some pasta water (see ingredients). Drain fettuccine, then return to the saucepan.
TIP: ‘Al dente’ pasta is cooked through but still slightly firm in the centre.
Little cooks: Older kids, help add the pasta to the saucepan under adult supervision. Be careful, the water is boiling!

• Meanwhile, finely chop garlic.
• Heat a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook beef mince (no need for oil!) and soffritto mix, breaking up the mince with a spoon, until just browned, 4-5 minutes.
• Add garlic and garlic & herb seasoning and cook until fragrant, 1 minute.
Little cooks: Help sprinkle in the herb seasoning under adult supervision.

• Reduce heat to medium, then add cream (see ingredients), grated Parmesan cheese, chicken-style stock powder, cooked fettuccine and the reserved pasta water. Toss until coated in the sauce, 1-2 minutes.
• Add baby spinach leaves and cook until wilted, 1 minute.
• Season to taste with salt and pepper.
TIP: If the sauce looks too thick, loosen with a splash more water.
TIP: If your frying pan isn’t big enough, toss everything together in the saucepan!

• Divide rich beef creamy fettuccine between bowls to serve. Enjoy!
