1 bag
baby broccoli
1
carrot
2 clove
garlic
1 bag
chives
1 packet
pork loin steaks
½ bottle
cream
(Contains: Milk; )
½ sachet
Chicken-Style Stock Powder
1 packet
Grated Parmesan Cheese
(Contains: Milk; )
1 sachet
Aussie Spice Blend
1
olive oil
20 g
butter
(Contains: Milk; )
¼ cup
water (for the sauce)
• Preheat oven to 240°C/220°C fan-forced. • Cut potato into fries and place on a lined oven tray. Season with salt and drizzle with olive oil. Toss to coat, then bake until tender, 20-25 minutes. • In the last 5 minutes of cook time, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the fries and bake until melted.
• While the fries are baking, halve any thick baby broccoli stalks lengthways. • Thinly slice carrot into half-moons. • Finely chop garlic and chives.
• In a medium bowl, combine pork loin steaks, Aussie spice blend and a drizzle of olive oil. • In a large frying pan, heat a drizzle of olive oil over medium-high heat. When oil is hot, cook pork until cooked through, 3-4 minutes each side (depending on thickness). • Transfer to a plate and cover with foil to rest for 5 minutes.
TIP: Pork can be served slightly blushing pink in the centre.
• Wipe out the frying pan and return to mediumhigh heat with a drizzle of olive oil. • Cook baby broccoli and carrot, tossing, until tender, 5-6 minutes. Transfer to a bowl.
• Return the frying pan to medium heat with the butter. Cook garlic until fragrant, 1 minute. • Add cream (see ingredients), water (1/4 cup for 2 people / 1/2 cup for 4 people), chives and chicken-style stock powder (see ingredients). • Season and cook until thickened, 2-3 minutes. Stir through any pork resting juices.
• Slice pork steaks. Divide Parmesan fries, veggies and pork between plates. • Pour creamy garlic-chive sauce over pork. Enjoy!
