Here’s a fun idea for tonight’s dinner, burgers without the buns! Not convinced yet, well let’s fix that. These beef and pork patties are cooked in a delicious teriyaki sauce after being combined with both ginger and lemongrass. Don’t forget the celery and radish slaw. This recipe is under 650kcal per serving and under 40g carbohydrates per serving.
500 g
Beef & Pork Mince
1 packet
Fine Breadcrumbs
(Contains: Gluten, Wheat)
1
Celery
1 packet
Ginger & Lemongrass Paste
(May be present: Almond, Soy, Wheat, Milk, Fish, Cashew, Sesame, Gluten, Eggs)
1 packet
Teriyaki Sauce
(Contains: Sesame, Soy)
1 packet
Slaw Mix
2
Garlic
2
Radish
1 drizzle
olive oil
¼ tsp
salt
1 drizzle
white wine vinegar
2 tbs
Mayonnaise
(Contains: Eggs)

• Finely chop garlic. Thinly slice celery and radish. • In a large bowl, combine garlic, beef and pork mince, ginger & lemongrass paste, fine breadcrumbs, the salt and a pinch of pepper. • Using damp hands, shape beef and pork mixture into evenly sized patties (2 per person).

• In a large frying pan, heat a drizzle of olive oil over medium-high heat. When oil is hot, cook patties until just cooked through, 4-5 minutes each side (cook in batches if your pan is getting crowded). • Add teriyaki sauce and cook, gently turning patties until well coated, 1-2 minutes.

• In a large bowl, add celery, radish, slaw mix and garlic aioli. Add a drizzle of white wine vinegar and olive oil. Toss to combine. Season to taste.

• Divide celery slaw and teriyaki beef and pork patties between plates. • Spoon any remaining sauce from the pan over patties to serve. Enjoy!
