2
potato
1
capsicum
1 packet
beef mince
½ tin
Crushed & Sieved Tomatoes
1 tsp
brown sugar
2
Butter Burger Buns
1 bag
Shredded Cabbage Mix
1 packet
garlic aioli
1 sachet
All-American Spice Blend
1 packet
Worcestershire sauce
1 packet
Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1
olive oil
20 g
butter
1 drizzle
white wine vinegar
• Preheat oven to 240°C/220°C fan-forced. Cut potato into fries. • Place fries on a lined oven tray. Drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and toss to coat. • Bake until tender, 20-25 minutes.
• Meanwhile, finely chop capsicum.
• In a large frying pan, heat a drizzle of olive oil over medium-high heat. Cook capsicum until tender, 4-5 minutes. • Add beef mince and cook, breaking up with a spoon, until just browned, 4-5 minutes. • SPICY! This is a mild spice blend, but use less if you're sensitive to heat! Add All-American spice blend and cook until fragrant, 1 minute.
• Add crushed & sieved tomatoes (see ingredients), Worcestershire sauce, the butter and brown sugar and simmer, stirring, until slightly reduced, 1-2 minutes. Season to taste. • Remove pan from heat, sprinkle over shredded Cheddar cheese and cover with a lid (or foil), allowing cheese to melt.
• Halve burger buns and bake directly on a wire oven rack until heated through, 2-3 minutes. • Meanwhile, combine shredded cabbage mix and a drizzle of white wine vinegar and olive oil in a large bowl. Season to taste.
• Top bun bases with American beef and capsicum mixture, along with some shredded cabbage. • Serve with fries, garlic aioli and any remaining shredded cabbage. Enjoy!
TIP: Store any leftover filling in the fridge for another meal!
