Cooking Steps

1
1

• Preheat oven to 240°C/220°C fan-forced. Cut potato into fries. • Place fries on a lined oven tray. Sprinkle over 1/2 the dried oregano, drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and toss to coat. • Spread out evenly, then bake until tender, 20-25 minutes.

TIP: If your oven tray is crowded, divide between two trays.

2
2

• Meanwhile, grate cucumber (see ingredients) and squeeze out any excess moisture using a paper towel or clean cloth. Finely chop garlic. • In a large frying pan, heat a drizzle of olive oil medium-high heat. Cook garlic until fragrant, 1 minute. • Transfer garlic oil to a small bowl, then add Greek-style yoghurt and cucumber and stir to combine. Season with salt and pepper and set aside.

3
3

• Cut chicken breast into 2cm chunks. • In a medium bowl, combine chicken, garlic & herb seasoning, remaining dried oregano, a pinch of salt and a drizzle of olive oil.

4
4

• Return the frying pan to medium-high heat with a drizzle of olive oil. When oil is hot, cook chicken, tossing occasionally, until browned and cooked through, 5-6 minutes. • Remove from heat, then add the honey and toss to combine.

5
5

• While the chicken is cooking, toast or grill flatbreads to your liking. • In a second medium bowl, combine baby spinach leaves and a drizzle of red wine vinegar and olive oil. Season to taste.

6
6

• Top flatbreads with tzatziki, baby spinach, chicken and some oregano fries. • Crumble over feta. • Serve with any remaining fries. Enjoy!

Review summary

Updated on Feb 2026
  • Flavour: Tasty and enjoyable, with some finding the chicken seasoning a bit strong. Several suggested adding tomato or coriander for balance.
  • Ease of prep: Quick and simple to prepare, though some found the recipe timing inaccurate and needed longer than stated.
  • Suggestions: Consider toasting the flatbreads and adding extra vegetables or salad for more variety. Microwaving garlic in oil for 60 seconds softens its bite.
  • Portions: A light meal for some; teenagers may need extra potatoes to feel satisfied.
