This is the ultimate cosy, comfort kai for any night of the week.
1 packet
Penne
(Contains: Gluten, Wheat May be present: Soy)
1
Broccoli
1 sachet
Savoury Seasoning
1 packet
Cream
(Contains: Milk)
1 packet
Grated Parmesan Cheese
(Contains: Milk)
1 packet
Shredded Cheddar Cheese
(Contains: Milk)
1
Bacon
1 drizzle
olive oil
¼ tsp
salt

• Boil the kettle. Half-fill a large saucepan with boiling water and add a generous pinch of salt.
• Cook penne over high heat, until ‘al dente’, 12 minutes.
• Reserve some pasta water (see ingredients). Drain penne, then return to saucepan.
TIP: ‘Al dente’ pasta is cooked through but still slightly firm in the centre.

• Meanwhile, preheat the grill to high. Chop broccoli (including stalk!) into small florets. Cut streaky bacon into 1cm pieces.
• In a large frying pan, heat a drizzle of olive oil over medium-high heat.
• Cook broccoli and bacon, breaking up the bacon with a spoon, until golden and tender, 6-7 minutes.
• Add savoury seasoning and cook until fragrant, 1 minute.
• Reduce heat to medium, then add cream and the reserved pasta water. Simmer until slightly thickened, 1-2 minutes.

• Add cooked penne, grated Parmesan cheese and the salt to the sauce, stirring until well combined.
• Transfer pasta mixture to a baking dish and evenly sprinkle over shredded Cheddar cheese.
• Grill until the cheese is golden and bubbling, 5-7 minutes.

• Divide two-cheese bacon pasta bake between bowls to serve. Enjoy!
