• Boil the kettle. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over high heat • Cook bacon, breaking up with a spoon, until browned, 3 mins • Add garlic paste and a pinch of chilli flakes (if using), cook until fragrant, 1 min • Add tomato sugo, cream (1/2 packet for 2P / 1 packet for 4P) and seasoning (1/2 sachet for 2P / 1 sachet for 4P), cook until thickened, 2-3 mins
• Half-fill a saucepan with boiling water, place over high heat, then add a generous pinch of salt • Bring to the boil, then add fettuccine and cook until ‘al dente’, 3 mins • Transfer cooked fettuccine to frying pan with a dash of pasta water and toss to coat
• Thinly slice apple and cucumber • In a bowl, combine apple, cucumber, spinach & rocket mix and dressing. Season to taste • Divide bacon pasta between plates • Top with Parmesan and torn parsley. Serve with apple salad
