Cooking Steps

Get prepped

• Preheat oven to 240°C/220°C fan-forced.
• Line the baking tin with two layers of baking paper then lightly brush with oil.
• Zest orange, then cut in half. Measure 100g caster sugar.

Make the mixture

• In a large bowl, place cream cheese and measured caster sugar. Using electric beaters, beat until combined.
• Add the eggs and sour cream and beat with electric beaters to combine.
• Add cornflour, orange zest, the cinnamon and a pinch of salt. Mix well to combine.
• Pour cheesecake mixture into the double lined baking tin.

Bake the cheesecake

• Bake for 30-40 minutes on the top rack of the oven until the cheesecake has a little wobble in the centre.
• Allow to cool completely in the baking tin.
• Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine cherry sauce and a squeeze of orange juice.

Serve up

• Transfer cinnamon and orange baked cheesecake to a serving platter. Drizzle over zesty cherry sauce.
• Slice and serve. Enjoy!
